The company has been based in Sheffield since 1945 and is now one of the UK's leading privately owned Building Contractors. Our size and experience mean we can handle major projects nationwide.
Finnegan believes in creating strong personal relationships with its clients, consultants and supply-chain partners. This ensures that clients tend to work with the same team throughout their project, usually including a Board Director.
A great number of our staff have been with us for many years, and some who started as apprentices now hold senior positions within the company. So you benefit from an impressive depth of experience.

Design & Build
We are able to offer a genuine, fully integrated Design and Build service which is difficult to find elsewhere. Taking sole responsibility for your entire project, we can facilitate the whole process giving you single point responsibility and fixed price certainty.
From an initial brief we provide outline proposals and cost advice that allow you to move forward very quickly. The fusion of the design, approval and construction stages leads to savings in both time and money.
You can be involved in the construction process as much as you wish; we set up the contractual and functional arrangements to suit your sole requirements.
Although your building will be unique, we are able to show you an appropriate property, which will present a tangible demonstration of our abilities and help conceptualize your scheme.
